Incheon is the most famous port city, located in the northwestern region of the Republic of Korea and bordering the Yellow Sea. Since 2001, with the opening of the Incheon International Airport, the Port of Incheon has served as the central hub for international trade, thus aiding in the city’s development. Following Seoul and Busan, which rank first and second, respectively, Incheon ranks third in total population in ROK.

The Political, Economic, and Cultural Center of Northwest China
Xian is the political, economic, and cultural center of Northwest China. Once known by the name of Changan, it marked the eastern starting point of the Silk Road, enjoying great prosperity that aided in its development. It also served as the capital of 12 dynasties, including the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang, over the span of 2000 years from the 11th century BC. Xian’s most notable historical heritage is the Terracotta Army, an army of terracotta soldiers sculpted in the 3rd century BC to guard the Great Wall of China and the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

The Theatrical City Where the Streets Are the Stage and Anyone Can Become a Star
Toshima is Japan’s most densely populated city, and foreign nationals, with Koreans and Chinese being the majority, make up 10% of the city’s total population. Toshima is renowned for its rich culture, with theater, animation, Japanese comics, and traditional performance arts deeply rooted in the city’s history. The concept of an “International Cultural City” is being developed to further realize Toshima’s theme as “The Theatrical City Where the Streets Are the Stage and Anyone Can Become a Star.”
